WRAP Funding Support

WRAP Capital Support Programme

WRAP has in the past provided capital support for those developing a new composting facility, improving an existing one, or manufacturing products using compost.

The most recent was WRAP's (Waste & Resources Action Programme) Organics Capital Support Progamme II for which applications closed on 17 May 2004.

To be eligible to apply for any of these funding initiatives you must be based in England or Scotland and be able to demonstrate that new sources of feedstock are being utilised to increase the production of composted material.

WRAP has, when grant funding was previously offered, funded up to 30% of the capital and set-up costs, which could include purchasing land or individual pieces of equipment.

Any fnding that is available has in the past been displayed on the WRAP web site here.

If you have applied in the past, and would like to share your experiences, we would be interest to know about it so that we can in future show some case studies of funded schemes on this web site. Contact us here.
