Wrap's New Organics Training Programme
WRAP has recently announced the launch of a new training programme for the composting industry, most of these courses have been created by the Compost@Enviros.com team.
Seven different courses have been developed to cover the key areas involved in successful compost production and organic waste management.
Course Details:
Areas to be covered include:
- Organics strategy: Strategic decision making for the organic waste industry
- Turning compost into cash; How to create sustainable high value markets for composted products
- Maximising organics collection: Improving the collection of organic waste
- Building facilities: Developing and building successful composting facilities
- Quality products: How to produce quality assured composted products
- Operations: Improving composting site operations
- Composting for regulators: Improving composting site permitting

These courses will run throughout the UK during Autumn 2005.
No charge will be made for the courses, but attendees will be expected to cover their own travel and accommodation costs. Applicants will be required to complete application forms in order to establish that they meet the course acceptance criteria, before being offered a place.
