Collection, (from transfer points) processing and transfer on to end markets of mixed organic waste arising from kerbside collections. Tenderers will be required to provide information on how their proposal will meet the requirements of the Animal By-Products Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2003.
The service provider will accept and process collected organic waste, kitchen waste, paper, card and cardboard that has been deposited at the Council's Civic Amenity Sites for Composting.

Suppliers of in-vessel composting plant are invited to provide Magherafelt District Council with sufficient information, as detailed in the application form, to enable Magherafelt District Council to purchase plant for the treatment of mixed organic and kitchen waste arising from Kerbside collection schemes. Suppliers will be required to provide information on how their proposed plant will meet the requirements of the animal by products regulations (Northern Ireland) 2003.
